“Hello, I am a trained chef, living in Norway.”
I started my cooking career 2001 at the famous german cooking organization ‘Die Jungen Wilden’ founded in 1999 by german top chefs. Aim of this organization was to bring back the passion and respect for food to the kitchen.
After my training I worked 3 years in a five *****+ categorie Spa Hotel in Germany, with a 2** Michelin kitchen chef the last half year before I moved to Norway. From 2006 to present I’m working as a chef at the same place in Norway where I started.
Actually what’s all about is my passion for Italy and for italian food. So it was just a question of time that I found the amazing Lasagne kit of Gilberto. His page is so lovely and his idea to offer a homemade Lasagne made by himself is so great, that I had to try it. I was already happy as I got his lasagne box! The box itself is so stylish and except of the parmesan everything you need is inside!
I opened the bolognese can, cause i was so curious about the taste. I always make my bolognese ragout by myself and I never had bought a convinience product like this before. I was really surprised about the rich consistence and the wonderful taste! There is really a lot of meat in the ragout and the taste was so familiar for me, cause mine tastes nearly the same! JUST TRUE!!!!!
The bechamel was wonderful white and tastes like….. bechamel. Not really exciting if you ask me, but perfect in combination with the ragout and the perfect green spinach pasta i boiled after the instruction.
The pasta came out just perfect and it was really easy to prepare! I made the lasagne after one of Gilberto’s Youtube Videos, cause it’s fun to watch him and I would like to do it exactly like it was supposed to meant… And surprise, surprise: all ingredients, ragout, bechamel and pasta where perfect balanced in the amount. I had just one pasta leave left.
Everything else I used up and filled the two baking forms perfect to top level. Now i cannot wait to put it in the oven…
